My Classes

Whenever I would enter my classes, I always found students left their used pens with empty refills on the desks which were gathered and thrown into dustbins. This we all have seen and must have even done it because these pens are disposable and are economical and why not......... In this era of use and throw, a disposable pen costing merely five or ten rupees stands no value after the ink is over. 

But many times, I wonder, what we are doing with the environment in the name of disposables. A single-use pen made of plastic is definitely adding to the already mammoth amount of plastic available around us. This demon of plastic that is invincible has one solution that is to reuse which the GenG has no interest in doing so. But are we going to leave a scorched planet to our posterity, are all the talks on elite platforms to save earth are mere talks. 

A journey of a hundred miles begins with the first step. Yes, I believe this is the beginning where we can contribute our mite to save our planet earth.

So the first step is to learn fidelity with the so-called consumables or try shift our focus to alternative products used to manufacture out pens which not only a breed apart but also environment friendly.

Gone are the days when pen was a unique stationery gift, a birthday gift for a girl, a gift for men. I believe, things are changing rapidly. 

But many times, I wonder, what we are doing with the environment in the name of disposables.
